FAQ
  • How much does it cost to live-stream?
The cost to live-stream varies greatly. The smallest scale live streams can be as low as $1,500 - $3,000. More complex, larger scale streams can be anywhere from $10,000 - $100,000. These are some of the variables that determine the cost: • Complexity of the live stream • Duration of the event • Number of cameras • Level and type of graphics needed While we would love to give you a specific answer, every live event is unique. In order to give you an accurate estimate, we would need to know more information about your event. Please reach out and we would be happy to provide you with a free estimate.
  • How fast should my internet be?
For a 1080p high-definition stream, we recommend a minimum upload internet speed between 75-100 Mbps. You can use a free speed test website like speedtest.net to test your internet connection.
  • What if my internet connection is slow?
Connect via an ethernet cable. As a general rule of thumb, an ethernet connection will be faster and more reliable than your standard Wi-Fi connection. However, the speed of your internet will ultimately be limited to the service plan you have with your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
  • How many cameras do I need?
The short answer is, it varies. Typically we shoot with one to four cameras. For the majority of events, three cameras provides the ideal amount of coverage. This allows for a primary wide-shot of the stage and two close-ups of the presenters.
  • Can I live-stream on LinkedIn?
Yes. However, you need to use a third party service like restream.io or similar.
